EEF First Interim Period: Civilian Stampless and Prepaid Mail: November 1917- November 1918
This presentation deals with some of the rarest postal history in Holy Land philately.
It shows civilian free mail sent between mid-November 1917 and mid February 1918.
The presentation then discusses the civilian mail sent during the period in which a
"prepaid mail" system was used (mid February to mid July 1918) when only 3 Army
Post Offices had postage stamps for civilians to use when sending their mail.
Prepaid mail covers sent from various army post offices will be featured.
