Palestine – Rates & Routes 1927 – 1948

The first two pictorials stamps were issued on July 1 st , 1927. 12 additional values were issued on August 14 th , 1927, and the three “high values” on January 15 th , 1942. The stamps were valid until May 14 th , 1948. The presentation will show the commercial usage of the pictorial stamps, with emphasis on the study of postal rates, routes and procedures.
